1. Max unique traits were being able to fly & being capable to hear miles away. Genetic engineering applies to Max because for her to be a human she has "animal-like" traits that were modified by manipulating her genetic material making her having these what I call "animal-like" traits.

3)Post traumatic stress disorder is when you have experienced or seen a traumatic event. For example when someone dies or someone gets badly hurt. If you have this disorder, you will probably get flashbacks(where you will see the event happening over and over again.) You will get headaches and dizziness and most than likely faint.
4)Euthanize is when you kill an animal or person in a humanely way. For example putting an animal into a deep sleep, a sleep that he will never wake up from.

One of the hunters named Kit Harrison has post traumatic stress disorder, and he came to Colorado to calm down. Frannie is a Veterinarian and a widow , because her husband David was shot and killed. Keith Duffy and his daughter, Angie, had to go to Frannie because the car had hit a pregnant doe and crushed it. The little girl just wanted both of them to be okay, but she could not save the mother doe; she could only save the baby.

ReplyDelete2. Some of the first characters introduced in the novel were Max and her brother, Matthew. They were introduced while they were running from hunters in the woods. One of the hunters that was following them was named, Kit Harrison, who was visiting Colorado to relax. (He has post-traumatic stress disorder). Another character that was introduced was named Frannie, who is a veterinarian. Her husband, who was never introduced thoroughly because he was killed many years ago, making Frannie a widow. Two more characters who were introduced were named Angie, and her father Keith. They entered the story after hitting a pregnant deer, prior to visiting the veterinarian.
3.Post-traumatic stress disorder is normally caused after someone is faced with a major, negative event in their life. It effects them throughout their lives.
4. To euthanize an animal means to kill it peacefully, without causing any harsh or painful actions.

Max is a teenage girl who has special gifts from genetic engineering. Same as her brother Matthew. Fannie is an elder woman who is considered a widow because she a had a tragic lost of her husband who was murdered. Then there is Kit Harrison who was one of the the hunters that has post-traumatic stress, and he was sent to Colorado to get things straight with his head. Keith Duffy and his daughter, Angie, are just two client of Fannie. Keith ran over a doe that was pregnant and Angie was devastated and just wanted both the doe and fawn to be safe. Unfortunently she could only save the baby.
3)Post-Traumatic stress usually affects victims that has suffered a tragic loss or anything negative that has happened in that persons life. Its a disorder when the brain is traumatized after a traumatic event happens to a person. Extreme anxiety attacks happen often.
